GH Recap: Anna Shocks Obrecht!

Franco did his darndedst to talk Nina into accepting that the baby wasn’t hers (and Silas never would be again), but she wasn’t particularly interested in that. Instead, she insisted that Ava owed her the baby, which she had every intention of keeping. Franco managed to make her accept the truth, which left her a broken woman. “I’m not in pain,” she uttered tearfully. “I wish I were. I’m not in any pain. I’m empty. I’m like a shell. If I don’t have Silas and I don’t have the baby, I have nothing.” Proving himself the best darn friend a lunatic could ever have, Franco replied that she had him. But once they agreed to move forward, it left a big question hanging in the air: What to do with the baby?

Patrick and Sam convinced Lulu to keep Larry busy while they snuck into Larry’s safe deposit box to find out what he was hiding. With the story of her being on the run being splashed all over the media, Ava tried to keep Silas from finding out she was a wanted woman. (And who wouldn’t want the minx, given how gorgeous she looked! How is it that Ava is better dressed and coifed on the run than most of us are after a spa-and-shopping day?) Ava suggested she and Silas work together to find Nina and the baby. Lucas visited his jailed dad and Alexis later swung by, too. Britt told Nikolas that she was going to try and find out what happened to her father. Agent Sloane scored big points with Obrecht by telling Anna he intended to prove she killed Faison. But Anna shocked the agent — not to mention Obrecht — by declaring “Faison is alive!”
