GH’s Robin Is Getting A New (Celebrity) Friend!
This year alone, GENERAL HOSPITAL has seen a revolving door of celebrity guest stars wander its halls. James Franco (ex-Franco), Bruce Davison (ex-Wilhelm) and Michael Learned (ex-Shirley) have all done short-term arcs on the soap, while Adrienne Barbeau (Suzanne) is still heavily involved in storyline as Brenda’s good friend and confidant. Now, there’s another acclaimed actor headed to GH: Daniel Benzali of JERICHO, THE AGENCY and NYPD BLUE fame!
Benzali — who received a Golden Globe nomination for his work on MURDER ONE and is an accomplished musical theater performer of both Broadway and London stages — will make his daytime debut on Monday, December 6, as Theo Hoffman, a patient who is admitted to the hospital. Theo will develop a friendship with Kimberly McCullough‘s Robin, but an ABC spokesperson teases that “there’s more to Theo than meets the eye.”
