Gotcha! Morgan Betrays Sonny!

Morgan’s day on GENERAL HOSPITAL went from bad to worse. It began with a guilt trip and ended with wondering if his father was going to kill him! Or at least that’s the seed Julian planted in his impressionable, naïve little head.

It all began when Morgan told Julian that Duke was working for Sonny, a tiny tidbit Morgan knew would lead to Julian bumping off the Scot. Ava shrugged off the whole assassination plan with all the “yeah, well” nonchalance of squashing a spider. Murdering Duke to protect the Julian family — it was all a matter of perception, she thought. But as the fog rolled in on the docks, “the plan” didn’t go quiet as Julian had expected. With his gun drawn, Julian approached Duke, ready to put a bullet in his heart. That is, until Shawn came up behind Julian and pointed a gun at him. Sonny stepped out of the shadows to greet his foe and asked Duke if he’d like to take the first punch. Duke very happily obliged.

Shortly thereafter, a bloodied and beaten Julian stumbled into Ava’s apartment. He told her and Morgan that it was a bogus meeting, a set up, which meant Sonny was onto his son and was testing his loyalty. Morgan looked nervous — really nervous — and Julian used that fear to his advantage. “I wonder what Sonny will do now that he knows his son tried to play him,” Julian pointed out. Back on the docks, Shawn wondered the same thing. Sonny’s hurt and disappointment that Morgan was a traitor was evident. But what was he going to do about it?

Silas’ day wasn’t going very well either. Sam tracked down the one person who could say without a shadow of a doubt that Silas did not try to kill his wife, Nina. Sam and Silas’ theory was that if the pharmacist could identify Ava and say she filled the prescription that put Nina in a coma, Silas would be cleared. A reasonable theory. Too bad their witness didn’t agree. Instead, Nathan slapped the handcuffs on Silas and arrested him for attempted murder!

Whether Silas was guilty or not was still not known. Lucy, on the other hand, was guilty as sin! The crime? Adultery. Again. She tried to ignore her attraction to Scotty. You gotta give her an “A” for effort. But the minute they got in close proximity to each other, their eyes locked and it was wham, bam, thank you ma’am. Yes, they hit the sheets. Scotty was sort of hoping for an encore but Mac interrupted them. Felicia had tipped him off that Lucy was cheating on Kevin, and Mac was there to defend his BFF’s honor… by gifting Scotty with a black eye!

Next week, Anna gets an earful from Julian, Sonny deals with Morgan, and Victor Cassadine returns to Port Charles with shocking news! Don’t forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!
