Luke’s Sons Are Coming Home!

The familiar faces continue to roll on in, as GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Anthony Geary prepares to exit his iconic role of Luke Spencer! Following the announcements that two of Luke’s past loves, Laura (Genie Francis) and Holly (Emma Samms), will be returning to help Geary wrap up his 37-year run comes confirmation from ABC that Luke’s sons will also be stopping by! Jonathan Jackson‘s Lucky and Nathan Parsons‘ Ethan are set to be a part of the story that will, undoubtedly, go down in soap history!

“When I left the first time in 1999, I was always completely open to coming back because it’s like a family,” Jackson recently told Soaps In Depth while on hiatus from his hot primetime show, NASHVILLE, and as he prepares for a concert tour. “Even when I left a few years ago, it was never something that I felt I was closing the door on. It’s never been a negative thing, either. Both times I left was just to do some other things.”

Parsons, meanwhile, told In Depth a few months ago about a promise he had made to fans that if Luke were to leave, he’d love to return as Ethan to send Geary off. “I’ve talked to Tony about that,” Parsons shared at the time. “I think that would be an almost perfect ending. There’s no perfect way to end such a legacy, but I think it would be nice to sort of symbolically kind of welcome him on and usher him onto the next thing.”
