Parsons Makes BUNHEADS Debut!

On Monday, July 16, GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Nathan Parsons (ex-Ethan) makes his television return when he joins the cast of ABC Family’s BUNHEADS in a recurring role. “It’s a fun show,” he tells Soaps In Depth of the hit summer drama, which centers around a Las Vegas showgirl who, having gotten married on a whim, leaves the big city behind to move to her new husband’s tiny coastal town and now works at her mother-in-law’s dance studio. “I come from theater and I was a dancer, so I have a lot of love for young people trying to dance.”

Parsons first appears in the episode titled “Money For Nothing” as Godot, the hot bartender son of The Oyster Bar’s owners. It doesn’t take long before Boo’s relationship with the hunky surfer at her new job makes the other girls jealous. But besides working with the younger castmembers, Parsons also crossed paths with series star Sutton Foster, who has a slew of Broadway musical credits to her name. “To work with Sutton, who is a Tony Award winner and incredible, was really a privilege,” he shares.

For now, Parsons is scheduled to appear in the Monday, August 13, and Monday, August 20, episodes as well. “Hopefully there will be more to come!” he says.
