Phelps Out! Valentini In!

Soaps In Depth broke the news on our Twitter page in the middle of the night that there’s been a big change behind the scenes at GENERAL HOSPITAL. A source at ABC/Disney tells us that Jill Farren Phelps has been let go as the executive producer, and ONE LIFE TO LIVE boss Frank Valentini will be taking over the helm of ABC’s lone soap. Another source adds that Phelps’ contract was coming to an end in mid-December, while our ABC insider reports that the GH cast would be hearing the news of the showrunner switch this morning.
