Rademacher’s DANCING Debut!

Last night, GENERAL HOSPITAL’s *Ingo Rademacher *(Jax) performed his very first routine on ABC’s DANCING WITH THE STARS with partner Kym Johnson. However, it’s no secret that the beach scene in the video package wasn’t the first time the two actually met! “It was a fakey!” Rademacher admitted to us after the show. “And everyone on Twitter knows it!”

Rademacher is hoping that those Twitter followers are behind him as he tackles this latest challenge. “I do have a pretty strong Twitter base,” he said. “A lot of my old supporters from the ’90s and the days of Jax and Brenda and Sonny — which was a very popular triangle — I hope they’re still out there, that they have phones and will get behind me!”

Dancing contemporary was obviously a new experience for the actor, but it turned out to be a new one for his professional partner as well! “I had to go and think about it,” Johnson confided. “I really enjoyed doing it. It was really freeing. I think judging from the audience reaction, they liked it.”

Another fan of the performance was Rademacher’s on-screen brother, Sebastian Roche (ex-Jerry), who was in the audience last night. “I think he did amazingly well,” Roche told us following the taping. “Contemporary dancing is very, very difficult. He had to do an enormous amount of lifts which he did really, really well. He has such charisma. He’s so comfortable. He’s never nervous. I would have been very nervous. I think he’s here to stay!”

But did Rademacher get enough votes from his fans to remain on the show another week? You’ll have to tune in next week to find out!
