See Jacob Young in A Country Christmas Carol!

Soap fans know Jacob Young as GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Lucky, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Rick, or ALL MY CHILDREN’s JR, but now they can enjoy the actor in an entirely new role when he appears in A Country Christmas Carol! “A new spin on a classic!” he enthused on Instagram. “Thrilled to be a part of this talented cast spreading joy with all proceeds going to Akron Children’s Hospital!”

An all-star cast from the worlds of music, television, and Broadway will come together on Monday, Dec. 21, at 8 p.m. ET for a virtual reading of A Country Christmas Carol, a new version of the beloved holiday classic. Joining Young is his former AMC leading lady Amanda Baker (Babe), and fellow daytime star Eric Martsolf (Brady, DAYS OF OUR LIVES). The cast also includes Taylor Dayne, James Otto, Mary Wilson, John James, Jim Borstelmann, Steve Freeman, Justin Genna, and Angie Schworer.

A Country Christmas Carol is written and directed by Mark Rozzano, and while it premieres on Monday, Dec. 21, it will still be available for viewing until Thursday, Dec. 24, so you can watch it when it’s most convenient for you. Tickets are $11.99, and as mentioned, all proceeds go to the Akron Children’s Hospital, a worthy cause.
