Tam Is On A Roll!

It’s been a busy week for ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Jason Tam (Markko)! The talented actor has filmed parts in two different pilots!

On Monday, Tam tweeted a photo of himself wearing surgical scrubs, saying that he was “working in the OR all day” on the NBC pilot DO NO HARM. The hour-long pilot is a modern-day take on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Kohl struggles to keep in check the dangerous alter ego, Ian Price, he can no longer control with medicine. THE COSBY SHOW mom Phylicia Rashad (Felicia, SANTA BARBARA; Courtney, OLTL) plays Jeffrey’s boss, Dr. Vanessa Young, the chief of surgery, and Alana De La Garza (Rosa, ALL MY CHILDREN) also stars in one of the leading roles. While it’s not known whether Tam is a series regular or a dayplayer in the pilot, there is a socially-awkward Asian character named Dr. Brandon Kimura who is a third year resident at the hospital… and secretly in love with a fellow doctor.

Yesterday, Tam was on the set of the FOX pilot GUILTY. “Got to shoot a scene with Cuba Gooding Jr directed by McG!” he posted. Gooding stars as a morally questionable defense attorney who, after being falsely convicted of fraud and stripped of his license, now uses unorthodox methods to solve the cases he’s been prohibited from handling. No word on what role Tam plays in the hour-long legal drama.
