Tuc Watkins Wants You!
ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Tuc Watkins (David) wants you to join him and co-stars Kassie DePaiva (Blair), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex), Melissa Archer (Natalie), Hillary B. Smith (Nora) and Trevor St. John (Victor) in Loving Llanview!
While this will be Watkins’ first time on stage for the Loving Llanview fan event, he’s not worried. “I’m just gonna sort of wing it,” he chuckles. “But I figure with those great castmembers and a nice crowd, it’ll be fun to reminisce about the good old days of ONE LIFE TO LIVE. I’m really looking forward to it. It’s sort of like going back to a high school reunion in a way… but high school reunions don’t have reunions every six months!”
Joining his former castmates on stage for the two hour tribute is something the actor is really looking forward to. “Kassie and Kathy Brier (Marcie) and Bobbie Eakes (Krystal, ALL MY CHILDREN) have a show called the Divas Of Daytime, and I hosted their show in Palm Springs a couple of months ago,” Watkins explains. “And John-Paul and I play poker together now that he lives in Los Angeles. But I haven’t seen Trevor or Melissa or Hillary since the show’s been over. So I’m looking forward to seeing those guys.”
But he also wants to see you, the fans… and especially to relive the good and bad times. “Coming to Loving Llanview is a great opportunity to bring artifacts that are reminders of bad hairstyles and poor clothing choices over the years,” Watkins says with a laugh. “A lot of times fans will show up with a picture where I had a mullet or where I wore shoulder pads in a jacket… it’s a good reminder that we’re all human, we all make mistakes and it’s fun to see those time capsules.
“Also, the fans remember the great storylines that I was involved in that may have slipped through the cracks in my brain,” he adds. “And it’s always fun to hear the fans’ point of view of those storylines. So this is a good forum to have a conversation about great stories of the past.”
Loving Llanview will be held on Friday, October 12 at 7:00 pm at the Stamford Center Ffor The Arts’ Palace in Stamford, CT, Saturday, October 13, at 7:00 pm at 7:00 pm at the Akoo Theater at Rosemont in Rosemont, IL, and on Sunday, October 14, at 2:00 pm at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrivllville, IN. Tickets can be bought from the Web site or by calling (866) 364-0330. So join him, won’t you?
