AMC’s Cameron Mathison and Rebecca Budig Reunite!

Tags:

Ryan and Greenlee reunited! ALL MY CHILDREN stars Cameron Mathison and Rebecca Budig were thrilled to hang out last weekend, and the actress shared a delightful selfie with her former co-star on Instagram. “This happened today,” she enthused before joking: “Does everyone else feel like he is reverse aging? Love seeing you, Cameron.”

The post quickly filled with comments from fans as well as friends and castmates. AMC’s former Maggie and Frankie, Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) agreed, calling Mathison: “A real-life Benjamin Button!” Budig admitted that is just what she calls her pal, and Alicia Minshew (Kendall, AMC) jumped in to dub them, “Benjamin Button and Betty Button. Literally the best.”

Of course, Budig’s BFF, Greg Rikaart (Kevin, Y&R; Leo, DAYS OF OUR LIVES), who is constantly joking around with his gal pal, couldn’t resist throwing a little shade her way. “He’s aging like a fine wine,” he declared. “And you like a fine milk.”

AMC fans remember how Ryan and Greenlee’s marriage of convenience turned into something very real, leading to a lengthy love triangle with Kendall. However, when the beloved AMC soap came to an end, the pair were very much together.

And with Mathison now playing Drew Cain on GENERAL HOSPITAL, all that soap needs to do is bring back Budig as Hayden Barnes (something fans have been begging for for ages) and we can all enjoy this reunion on TV instead of in an Instagram selfie! (GH fans remember when Hayden was first introduced she claimed Drew — then believed to be Jason Morgan — was her husband!) Maybe one day we’ll get our wish!
