As one of the bigger soap hoppers out there, Vincent Irizarry would likely run into former castmates from one of the many shows on which he’s appeared. He played Lujack and Nick on Guiding Light, Scott on Santa Barbara, David on The Young & The Restless, and Deimos on Days Of Our Lives. But this time, it was some co-stars from his time as David on All My Children that he encountered unexpectedly one night!

“What a wonderful surprise running into these two beautiful kids the other evening,” Irizarry said of a selfie he snapped outside of Basta Restaurant with his girlfriend, Yvonne Glisson, “two of my very talented co-castmates on AMC, Justin Bruening (Jamie) and Alexa Havins (Babe, my fictional daughter on the show with Bobbie Eakes — Krystal — who apparently named our daughter after an adorable piglet. Love them both!”

Irizarry originally joined the cast of AMC back in 1997 and played Dr. David Hayward until 2006. He reprised the role in 2008 and remained with the soap until its final episode in 2011, also appearing in the short-lived online revival in 2013.

Burening took over the role of Jamie Martin, on AMC in 2003 and played Tad and Brooke’s son until 2007, making a return appearance in 2011 as the soap aired its final episodes on ABC. Havins played David and Krystal’s daughter, Babe Carey, from 2003-07, and although the character was killed off, she made some ghostly appearances in 2009 and 2011.

In real life, Bruening and Havins fell in love on the set of AMC and were married on June 5, 2005. The couple now has three children, Lexington, Zane, and Zoe. Bruening recently wrapped a four-season run playing Cal Maddox on the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias and  Havins has appeared in episodes of The Astronauts Wives Club and Barry as well as films like Professor Marston & the Wonder Women and Killer Vacation.
