Fans of the much-missed AS THE WORLD TURNS will be able to see star Michael Park (Jack) in an exciting new role as he has just been cast in an upcoming psychological drama series for Hulu titled SAINT X. “So happy to finally be able to share this news!” he tweeted when the story broke.

Deadline is reporting that Park will star alongside Betsy Brandt in the eight-episode series as Bill and Mia Thomas, upper-middle-class parents of two who are enjoying a family vacation in the Caribbean until one of their daughters goes missing. As SAINT X unfolds, the mystery will unravel over multiple timelines and from multiple perspectives as the disappearance pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous search for answers.

Park played the heroic Jack Snyder on ATWT from 1997 until the soap’s end in 2010, earning four Daytime Emmy Award nominations and two consecutive wins for Lead Actor in 2010 and 2011. The actor then appeared on stage in Broadway productions of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Dear Evan Hansen as well as in productions of The Sound of Music Live! and Peter Pan Live! for NBC.

In primetime, Park could be seen in series like HOUSE OF CARDS, CHICAGO P.D., TAKES OF THE CITY, STRANGER THINGS, HIGHTOWN, and most recently, THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE. As casting for SAINT X is still being finalized, shooting has yet to begin, so there is naturally no premiere date announced at this time.
