DAYS OF OUR LIVES Casts Anne-Marie Johnson as Abigail’s Doctor
Abigail will be getting some high-profile help on DAYS OF OUR LIVES when Anne-Marie Johnson debuts Tuesday, April 26, as Dr. Robinson, the therapist tasked with bringing the young woman back from the brink of insanity.
“Abigail needs intensive care for an extended period of time,” Johnson tells Soaps In Depth. “But Dr. Robinson is on that ride with Abigail throughout the duration.”
Fans will remember the actress from her numerous primetime roles on series including IN LIVING COLOR, MELROSE PLACE and JAG. But some DAYS fans might recall Johnson from her brief stint as Marlena’s therapist, Dr. Patel, back in 2012. “I’d never done a soap opera prior to Dr. Patel,” she reveals. “I had a great time that time, and to be asked back was great! I really was quite honored to be asked back.”
Because of everything Abigail has been through recently, she’ll require a lot of treatment, so Johnson is currently scheduled appear as Dr. Robinson periodically over the next four months. Can she restore Abigail’s sanity? Stay tuned!
