Greg Vaughan Returns to DAYS OF OUR LIVES!

Greg Vaughan is returning to DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Eric Brady!

The actor left the soap earlier this year to pursue other opportunities, and landed a role on OWN’s new series, QUEEN SUGAR, which was picked up for a second season by the network before its first had even aired!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Vaughan’s return to Salem is scheduled for the episode airing Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017.

“After coming toward the completion of Queen Sugar, I had the opportunity to speak with the executives and head writers at Days of our Lives,” Vaughan said in a statement. “I’ve always been proud of my time and the work I contributed to Days, and I was excited at the opportunity to reunite with the cast and crew. I feel my job as an actor is about more than just stepping on stage and taking a role. I’m trying to create a presence that resonates for myself and the core of Eric Brady. I feel Eric’s journey will have a huge and impactful return!”

There’s no information yet as to how long Vaughan’s stint on DAYS will be, or how it will affect his role in season two of QUEEN SUGAR.
