THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS has cast Sofia Pernas in the role of mysterious beauty Marisa. When a fan congratulated the actress on the role and welcomed her to Y&R on Twitter, Pernas replied, “Thank you for the warm welcome!” The casting notice for the recurring role describes her as “stunningly beautiful and sensual” but also “cool — icy — and removed.” Pernas will make her daytime debut on Monday, June 1.
