What Happened to Calvin on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS?

Chelsea’s husband didn’t last very long! That was actor John Burke playing Calvin Boudreau on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. Chelsea picked up a handsome husband during her time away from Genoa City, and once she was back in town, he followed her to bring even more drama with him! Unfortunately, while the actor made his debut in the July 1 episode, by July 5, he was dead!

Everyone was surprised to learn that Chelsea had tied the knot, especially Adam and Nick, who were suspicious of her new man. Chelsea confessed that Calvin had actually dated her mother, Anita, for a while, but had ended up with her. She was also surprised when her husband told her he was willing to let Adam take custody of Connor so they could have their own child together. Of course, things got even more complicated when Chelsea called Nick in a panic to reveal that her husband was dead! She says she woke up to find he’d died in his sleep but what really happened to the poor guy?

Y&R was not Burke’s first daytime gig. He made some recurring appearances on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as a pilot for Spencer Publications in 2011 and 2012 and his IMDb page lists small roles on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as well as GENERAL HOSPITAL. He has also made numerous primetime appearances, most recently in series like NCIS, JANE THE VIRGIN, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. On the big screen, you may have seen the actor in films like Transformers: The Last Knight, LBJ, or Sicario.
