Celeste on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — Everything You Need To Know

ABC Daytime superstar Eva LaRue made her CBS debut as Celeste Rosales on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS in June 2019! While LaRue only signed on for a short-term stint, she managed to win the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her work! And in December 2020, it was announced that LaRue was reprising her role for a special occasion!

Celeste is the mother of Lola Rosales and showed up at her bridal shower at the invitation of Abby Newman. While Lola was thrilled to see her mom again, her appearance complicated things as she worried she wouldn’t approve of her and Kyle Abbott living together before the wedding. As Celeste began butting her nose into not just the upcoming nuptials but also other aspects of her daughter’s life in Genoa City, Lola bristled under her constant criticism and eventually asked her mother to leave.

Moving out of Lola’s apartment and back into a hotel, Celeste tried to get Rey on her side, but he continued to support his sister. Eventually, a frustrated Celeste returned to Miami, but as the day of the wedding neared, Lola changed her tune and Jack Abbott went to Florida to convince Celeste to return with him for the ceremony. Everything was going well until Celeste’s ex-husband, Adrian Rosales, crashed the wedding looking to reconnect with his estranged family!

Thankfully, Adrian didn’t ruin the ceremony, but Celeste refused to reconcile with her ex. She was grateful to Jack for making sure she didn’t miss her daughter’s wedding, and before returning to Miami, Celeste helped make peace between her sons, Rey Rosales and Arturo Rosales.

With Rey about to walk down the aisle with Sharon, it’s only natural that Celeste would want to travel to Genoa City for her son’s wedding, so stay tuned to Y&R to see what happens!
