Simon Black on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — Everything You Need to Know

Trouble arrived in Genoa City as Simon Black appeared on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for the first time on Nov. 1. Before Jeffrey Vincent Parise made his debut on the soap, his character was described as “a charming and dangerous stranger who visits town to settle unfinished business with someone in Genoa City.” And now we know just who that person is!
Simon showed up and introduced himself to Chelsea Lawson as an old colleague of her late husband, Calvin Boudreau. Unfortunately, he wasn’t there to offer his condolences but to collect the money owed him. The money he went to collect from their storeroom only to find it was missing. Chelsea flew into a panic but tried to keep her cool as she wondered how she was going to cover her tracks! How far will Simon go to get what he’s owed?

Parise has some experience playing “charming and dangerous” from his popular role as the villainous Carlos Rivera on ABC sudser GENERAL HOSPITAL as well as portraying the Prince of Hell, Asmodeus, during the 13th season of the CW’s SUPERNATURAL. Viewers might also recognize the actor from his roles in primetime series like THE DETOUR, MAD MEN, CASTLE, and CSI: NY. He’s also appeared in films like The Love Witch and The Outer Wild.
