THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Felisha Cooper Responds to Her Haters!
Fans of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL are firmly divided about whether or not Sasha was in the right to have homed in on Zende the second he broke things off with her “bestie,” Nicole. (Not that she hadn’t tried to land him even while he and Nicole were still an item!) Felisha Cooper (Sasha) acknowledges that her alter ego’s overt sexuality is one of the things that makes her so polarizing.
“I think she thinks it’s the only weapon she’s got,” says the actress. “I’d love to see her eventually discover more strengths about herself, but right now, she thinks it’s all she has to use.”
What Sasha lacks in financial resources and paternal support, she more than makes up for in moxie, which Cooper knows endears her to some fans and infuriates others.
“Some people love her, which I think is so fantastic,” says the actress. “But there are other people who can be downright mean, sometimes. I just think, ‘You do realize I’m not my character, right? I’m not writing the scripts… I’m just trying to give people a good show!’”
Read all about Cooper’s experiences playing B&B’s newest troublemaker, including why she’s actually intimidated by those seductive bedroom scenes — It’s all in the latest CBS issue of Soaps In Depth, on sale now!
