Liam tells Quinn that while Steffy more than deserves to be Forrester CEO, the fact that the job offer came from her is a big red flag. Meanwhile, Ridge warns Steffy she could be making a terrible mistake. “Don’t forget where this idea came from,” he says. “This came from Quinn. And I don’t think she wants you to do this because she thinks you deserve it.”

When Liam joins Ridge in confronting Steffy about making the right decision, he tries to remind her that the new CEO of Forrester is going to be working closely with Quinn. “They’re going to encounter her bad side, at the worst possible time,” he insists. “And I am trying to prevent that person from being you.”
