Check Out ATWT’s Bryggman On Broadway!

Tags:

He’ll always be Dr. John Dixon to AS THE WORLD TURNS viewers, but Larry Bryggman is also quite an accomplished theater veteran with two Tony Award nominations under his belt. And this summer, the actor will be back on Broadway opposite THE BIG BANG THEORY star Jim Parsons in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Harvey at Studio 54.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy tells the story of Elwood, a man who befriends an imaginary six-foot rabbit. When his sister, Veta, tries to have him committed to a sanatorium, a comedy of errors ensues when Elwood wanders out of the hospital unbothered, but Veta is committed instead. Parsons headlines the comedy as Elwood, Jessica Hecht of FRIENDS and A View From The Bridge fame plays Elwood’s sister, and Bryggman is Judge Omar Gaffney, who tries to have the young man committed.

The limited engagement of Harvey is currently in previews, and officially opens on Thursday, June 14. For tickets and more information, visit www.roundabouttheatre.org.
