No March Madness Soap Preemptions This Year
Every March, like clockwork, CBS airs the NCAA March Madness college basketball tournament, and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS are preempted for a couple of days. This was originally scheduled to occur on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20, but due to concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament has been canceled.
This means that Y&R and B&B will be airing brand-new episodes on those two days in their regular time slots, and there will be no interruptions as originally planned. While THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET’S MAKE A DEAL will be airing encore episodes, THE TALK will be new, as will the two soaps, so make sure you watch or set your DVRs because we wouldn’t want you to miss any of the drama. And with the fallout from Thomas’ ill-fated wedding and the betrayals and backstabbing in Genoa City, there’s going to be a lot you could miss out on!
