The drama never stops in daytime, and executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell wants fans to get excited about what’s coming up on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL this summer!
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood may be off on her maternity leave right now, but Steffy will be back from Europe soon and ready to jump back into the drama that’s been going on while she’s been away! “What’s keeping Finn going and on the path to recovery is someday seeing Steffy and reuniting with his family,” Bell teased to Soap Opera Digest. “So it’s very much a love story even while they’re apart and Jacqui is on maternity leave. And Jacqui is eager to work, so we do have a very special, very romantic summer planned for Steffy and Finn.”
Of course, the fact that Finn wasn’t killed that night in the alley is also great news for someone else — his mother! Once Sheila realizes that her son is still alive, it changes everything. “She realizes that she’s not a murderer and wants to get her son healthy and stay out of prison,” the scribe previewed. “She’s going to pull out every trick in the book to stay free and be near her family.”
Ridge may have dumped Brooke for kissing Deacon while drunk on New Year’s Eve, but his rekindled relationship with Taylor hit a snag when the truth about that night was revealed. Now he finds himself torn between his wife and his ex. “Ridge is taking some time because he has these two wonderful ladies here and he also has to take into consideration Steffy and Thomas’ feelings because this is a family that he loves,” Bell explained. “So Ridge is going to be making a decision about his future early in the summer, and we’re going to see which way that falls.”
In other complicated romantic news, Carter will be forging ahead with Paris in the hopes of building a future together despite still being in love with Quinn. “We’re building to a Carter and Paris wedding,” he revealed. “As we move to the beautiful, dramatic wedding, Quinn has feelings for Carter and he’s about to commit his life to Paris, and Zende has feelings for Paris. It’s a tangled web but it’s going to be an entertaining story.”
And don’t forget that Quinn remains unaware that her supposedly loving and loyal husband has been cheating on her with Donna! “Who ends up with Eric?” Bell mused. “We will soon find out!”
