Soap Vet Joins THE SECRET CIRCLE

The hit CW occult drama THE SECRET CIRCLE has finally cast Cassie’s mysterious father — and he’s a familiar face to soap viewers! TV Guide reports that Joe Lando (Macauley, GUIDING LIGHT; Jake, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) has nabbed the coveted role of John Blackwell, a former member of the Circle who was killed by his own coven centuries ago after he began to dabble in dark magic. Look for the powerful witch to make his first appearance in Episode 15, titled “Return,” scheduled to air in early February.
