Y&R’s Mishael Morgan says that her alter ego, Hilary, has always led a dual life, so to speak (presenting a public face that was different than her personal side.) However, it was a lot more confusing to her to play the vixen when she first came on, because Y&R refused to tell her anything about her character’s background!

“I was completely blind!” laughs the actress. “I tried to get some stuff out of them, but they never told me anything. But my mother and sisters watched Y&R diligently, and they were like, ‘I think you’re Rose’s daughter!’ I jumped into the deep-end of that storyline, and made a choice that I was probably Rose’s daughter and I was probably in town for revenge!”
