Jacob Young Invites You to Watch Him in ‘Daytime After Dark’
Fans who miss seeing Jacob Young as Rick Forrester on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL will be able to get their fix of the talented actor again starting today, but in a whole new arena! Young has launched his own YouTube channel to host a new series he’s calling “Daytime After Dark.” “This is something I am truly passionate about and has been months in the making,” he confided.
The series will air live on Young’s YouTube channel every week, and the first episode will be broadcast Monday, Oct 1, at 10 pm ET. His first guest will be actor Daren Kagasoff, who has starred in THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER and RED BAND SOCIETY, and is part of the ensemble cast of the upcoming NBC series THE VILLAGE.
The following week, Young will be interviewing Trent Garrett, who can been seen as Bowie Quinn in Disney’s ANDI MACK series, but who soap fans will remember as Asher Pike from ALL MY CHILDREN. And that’s where Young played J.R. Chandler for many years, so they will likely have plenty to talk about as they reminisce about their days in Pine Valley!
“Honestly, there’s not really a format,” Young said of his show. “It’s gonna be raw, it’s gonna be real, it’s gonna Jacob unfiltered, and it’s gonna be a riot. I’ll tell you what we will touch on: music, entertainment, TV, film, gossip.” And because the show is live, he invites fans to write in with their own questions as they’re watching so he can respond in real time!
