The Force Is Strong With Fodé!

What do Superman and Luke Skywalker have in common with THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s *Pierson Fodé *(Thomas)? All three were raised on farms from which they ventured to fulfill their destinies. Soaps In Depth recently chatted with the soap newcomer about his humble origins and how he was inspired to pursue an acting career.

“I wanted to be able to be one of those people that made it, who could inspire other kids to get off the farm or out of their little neighborhoods and change a little piece of their world,” he explains.

While Fodé’s journey to stardom wasn’t always easy, he credits his hardworking parents with instilling in him the drive and determination required to achieve his dream. In fact, his first name means “rock,” which he likens to having been given a strong foundation.

“On the farm, my parents had a rule: if you want it, you can work and earn the money to buy it,” he says.

Today, Fodé’s life seems worlds away from his agrarian upbringing, but he couldn’t be more proud of his past.

“I love being able to share my story, to say that I cam from raising cows and selling asparagus on the side of the road.”
