THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Daniel Goddard Wants Fans to Get Physical With Him!

Tags:

Daytime star Daniel Goddard, who plays Cane on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, shared a selfie in his underwear to inspire his fans. No, not like that! He’s on a mission to get back in shape and wants his fans to join him — although if this is his “before” pic, we can’t imagine what the “after” one will look like!

“I’m posting this pic because I wanted to share my mission to get back in shape,” Goddard wrote. “The last two years since I broke my left elbow and separated my wrist has been really tough and at times the pain of working out just gets a little too much. But… it’s almost 2018 and I’m finally finding ways to work around the injury. So here we go!”

Okay… so I’m posting this pic because I wanted to share my mission to get back in shape. The last 2 years since I broke my left elbow and separated my wrist has been really tough and at times the pain of working out just gets a little too much. But… it’s almost 2018 and I’m finally finding ways to work around the injury. So here we go! So… If I can inspire you to start working out or to step it up to the next level then… let’s go and do this together! If u want to take a before selfie and post it please tag me so I can keep track of ur progress? Better yet! Let’s create a hashtag so we can track each other’s progress! And we can motivate as a group! What # ideas do you have! Maybe… #CanesChallenge ? #letsgo #fitness #getfit #workoutmotivation #workout #newyou

Back in September of 2015, Goddard was injured while shooting a fight scene for Y&R, breaking his elbow. Unfortunately, after undergoing a procedure to repair the damage to his arm, the actor was back in the hospital in December for emergency surgery when his body rejected the metal in his elbow.

Goddard would like to start exercising again but he doesn’t want to do it alone. “If I can inspire you to start working out or to step it up to the next level then let’s go and do this together!” he posted. “If you want to take a before selfie and post it, please tag me so I can keep track of your progress? Better yet, let’s create a hashtag so we can track each others’ progress! And we can motivate as a group!” He suggested “#CanesChallenge” but is still waiting to see what his fans come up with.

New Year’s is the perfect time for a resolution to get healthy, and if you’d like to join Goddard on his journey, you can follow and post along with him at his Instagram, his Twitter, or his Facebook page!
