Preview THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Emotional Farewell to Neil Winters

This week, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS will say goodbye to Kristoff St. John’s beloved character of Neil Winters as the character’s death rocks Genoa City to its core just as the actor’s passing did to the entire daytime community. The soap has already outlined its plans for the special tribute, including returns from many past stars, and a stand-alone episode where the actors step out of character to remember their dear friend. Now, Y&R has released an emotional preview of what viewers can expect from these unforgettable episodes.

“I don’t even know if I would be here right now without him,” Nikki cries as the trailer begins. The tears flow freely and Ashley sobs: “I just thought he’d always be there.” And as everyone gathers together for the funeral, Jack is one of the ones to stand before the group to speak about the wonderful man they’ve lost. “Neil didn’t just touch lives,” he declares. “He saved lives.” And having come home to Genoa City to say a final farewell to his big brother, Malcolm admits: “I don’t want to think about a world without Neil Winters in it.”
