THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Spoilers — Lily Is Sentenced!
Lily goes before the judge in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers, but she and Cane may not be the only couple torn apart this week. Billy and Phyllis are already experiencing friction because of Summer, and they may have just reached the breaking point!
It’s time for Lily to face justice for her role in the car accident that took the life of Hilary and her unborn child. And despite her pleas that it was just a terrible accident, Devon remains intent on seeking the maximum sentence for his sister to pay for the loss of his wife and child. “Actions deserve consequences,” Devon testifies before the judge in court as Cane winces. “My sister needs to answer for what she has done.” Will the judge agree with Devon or listen to Michael’s arguments on behalf of his client and show Lily leniency?
Meanwhile, despite Billy’s protestations, Summer continues to pursue her mother’s lover. “You wanted me,” she argues. “I could feel it.” And now that Phyllis knows exactly what’s going on, she continues trying to get her daughter to stop acting like a fool. “He’s not interested in a relationship with you,” Phyllis informs her as Kyle stands nearby looking awkward. But Summer just smiles smugly at her mother and responds: “Alright, you just keep telling yourself that.” And finally, Billy comes to Phyllis with a confession. “I lied to you,” he admits. “I can’t do this.” Phyllis just looks up at him, confused. Is this the end for Billy and Phyllis?
