Two Soap Stars Marry!

June may be the bridal industry’s most popular wedding month, but for two CBS Daytime stars, September was the month to marry! Both Julia Pace Mitchell (Sofia, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) and Heather Tom (Katie, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) are newlyweds!

Mitchell married business executive Stephen L. Hightower on September 4, in Lebanon, Ohio, near the groom’s hometown. “We were planning a lakeside ceremony, but due to rain, we had to move everything inside,” shares Mitchell. “Other than that, everything went smoothly and the day was absolutely incredible. I’m so happy, I’m still pinching myself.”

Tom tied the knot with her longtime musician beau, James Achor, on September 17, just a few weeks after announcing their engagement.
