Update: Beemer Books MIAMI!

THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL may be in the midst of a three-week hiatus, but Brandon Beemer (Owen) is still hard at work! The actor is working on the set of the CBS primetime crime drama CSI: MIAMI today, filming an episode to air in the upcoming new season. “Just got some awesome makeup done!! Very cool!” he tweeted, adding that he’ll be playing a character by the name of Derek Vaughan.

According to our pal Matt Webb Mitovich at TV Line, Beemer will play a gigolo when he appears in the second episode of the new season — but Derek’s popularity with the ladies proves to be a fatal flaw!

The 10th season of CSI: MIAMI will premiere on Sunday, September 25, at 10 p.m. EST. Barring any scheduling changes, Beemer’s episode should air on Sunday, October 2.
