Wagner Dishes On Last Night’s DANCING… And B&B!

Tags:

Last night’s DANCING WITH THE STARS was the second week of competition for Jack Wagner (ex-Nick, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; ex-Frisco, GENERAL HOSPITAL), and Soaps In Depth was there to watch him! “I think I over-danced a little this week,” he shared with reporters on the press line following his performance with pro partner Anna Trebunskaya. “My kicks could have been sharper. When you’ve got someone like Anna to dance with you and you don’t match it, it shows.”

Trebunskaya felt her partner did just fine, even though judge Carrie Ann Inaba claimed that Wagner “over danced” his jive as well. “The one dance where you really should go full-out is the jive,” Trebunskaya notes. “When you get a comment that you did too much… well, that’s the one dance that you want to do too much on. I’d rather Jack do “too much” on the jive than not do enough.”

Going all out on the jive did have a positive effect on Wagner’s waistline, however! “They had to adjust my pants from [last] Tuesday… which is just fine! At 52 years old, I found an ab the other day in my stomach. I’m thrilled!” he joked.

The first DANCING elimination is tonight; next week, the remaining celebrities will share personal stories. “It’s going to be a good one,” Trebunskaya told In Depth. “It’ll show a different side of Jack. I just keep praying we make it because next week will be pretty special.”

As for where things stand with Wagner’s soap career, the actor revealed to In Depth that there are currently no plans for him to return to B&B. “I’m prohibited from doing anything but dancing with [Anna] right now at all. Except maybe for going to the grocery store and feeding my kids!” And what about his rumored return to GH? “No Port Charles updates,” he shared. “I’m actually under contract to ABC so if [GH] wants to call then they can call.”
