Is Y&R's Adam Good or Evil? — Mark Grossman Speaks Out!

For years, fans have been debating whether THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS‘ Adam is a nice but misunderstood guy or someone who could give the devil a run for his money in the evil department! “Well, I think he’s a lot like Victor!” Mark Grossman said to Soaps In Depth with a smile. “There are moments when Adam is nice and vulnerable and compassionate, but then he can also be really ruthless and deceptive. But it’s a lot like real life, because I don’t think everybody is all good or all bad.”

The hunk recognizes that however he’s portraying Adam in the moment might change in the future, given the fluidity of soaps. And he’s all right with that! “I think it’s fun, because you never know where it’s going to go. In a TV series or a movie, you can read the script and see where the arc is. But in soaps, you don’t know where the arc is. And I find that exciting. That’s why every time I get the newest script, I’m like, ‘Ooh, what’s going to happen?’”
