Y&R Matriarch Passes Away

Carolyn Conwell, the film and television actress who portrayed Mary Williams on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, has died at the age of 82. Doug Davidson (Paul) expressed his feelings about his onscreen mother via Facebook. “She was the finest actor I have ever known and such a giving soul,” he wrote. “Her progeny are fabulous people. A credit to a live well lived. I truly can’t say enough about her. I love her and miss her presence. God bless her and her family.”
