Y&R Star Passes
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS family suffered a devastating blow on Tuesday, December 30, with the passing of Beau Kazer at the age of 63. The actor originated the role of Brock Reynolds in 1974 and made frequent appearances on the soap over the years. His most recent was in 2013 for the funeral of on-screen mother, Katherine. Kazer’s wife, Sharon Alkus, would like fans to know that Y&R was a huge part of his life that he was very proud of.
“I remember the first time I heard your voice and thought wow! This guy should have been in radio!” *Daniel Goddard *(Cane) wrote on Facebook to his late co-star. “Then I watched you act and was blown away with how natural and honest your performances always were. God Bless.”
