THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Star Kristoff St. John Holds Emotional Protest at the Hospital Where His Son Died

As part of his ongoing quest for justice in his son Julian’s untimely death, Kristoff St. John (Neil, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) led a protest on Sept. 29 outside of the La Casa Mental Health Rehabilitation Center.

St. John and his family are suing the center for not giving Julian the level of care he required which ultimately led to the young man taking his own life in 2014. The trial is scheduled to begin in November, but before then, the actor took to the streets with supporters to draw attention to the need for better mental health care systems.

“Today’s protest was life-affirming,” St. John shared on Instagram. “As I stood outside of La Casa Hospital, I was flooded with a myriad of emotions. It reaffirmed my purpose. My mission is clear. Never bending, never wavering. I am a soldier of righteousness, with my sword in my sheath, ready to do battle. Julian my boy, I will avenge your death. Lead the way.”

Our thoughts are with St. John and his family during this difficult time.
