Y&R and B&B Preempted for March Madness
CBS Daytime fans, prepare for an extra-long wait after some Wednesday cliffhangers on your favorites soaps! Yes, it’s time for the annual college basketball tournament, so THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL will be preempted both Thursday, March 17, and Friday, March 18, for March Madness.
While this happens on CBS every year around this time of year, soap fans are always irritated when their favorite shows aren’t on. Even when it’s a planned interruption like this one and not breaking news. However, on the plus side, these are national preemptions. So unlike the recent slate of sports preemptions that only affected West Coast viewers, these preemptions affect everyone.
So fans won’t have to worry about finding alternative channels or streaming Y&R or B&B online to stay caught up on all the drama. After the episodes that air on Wednesday, March 16, there will be no new episodes until Monday, March 21.
And with Ashland’s lies being exposed and Jack discovering a new Abbott family member over on Y&R as well as Brooke losing Ridge to Taylor again while Paris defies her mother to romance Carter instead of Zende on B&B, there is plenty of drama viewers won’t want to miss out on!
So enjoy the extra days off and do something nice for yourself while you wait for the action to pick back up on Monday, March 21, right where it left off!
