Aketra Sevillain Cast on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Talia
Please join us in welcoming a new face to Salem as Aketra Sevillian joins the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Talia Hunter! And yes, the last name means that she’s related to Jada. In fact, she’s her little sister!
“We wanted to round out [Jada’s] family a little bit so we bring on her little sister, Talia, who, despite having a medical degree, applies for a job at the bakery,” DAYS headwriter Ron Carlivati teased to Soap Opera Digest in their new issue. “So there’s a little mystery that remains to be unraveled.”
Viewers might recognize Sevillain from her role as Zoe on the HBO Max series THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS. The actress has also made appearances in the series GROWN-ISH, GRAND CREW, and MILLENNIALS.
Not only will Talia complicate Jada’s life in Salem, but she should also slot in nicely with the town’s younger set. Working at the bakery will bring her right into Chanel and Allie’s orbit. But will she be interested in them or perhaps one of the boys like Tripp or Johnny?
No first air date has been announced for Sevillian’s daytime debut, so you’ll just have to stay tuned to see when she shows up in Salem and what kind of drama Talia gets mixed up in once she’s there!
