Brandon Barash's Sweet Daddy/Daughter Date With Harper!

File this under one of the sweetest things we have ever seen: Brandon Barash (Jake, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) giving a baby rose corsage to his 8-year-old daughter, Harper Rose! The occasion for the mini bouquet was the father/daughter dance at Harper’s school — and Barash made sure that his little princess had the best night ever!

“First daddy/daughter dance… a success!” the DAYS star exclaimed on Instagram. “When Harper looked at me on our walk back from the dance and said, ‘This was the best night of my life,’ it instantly became mine, too. That’s the payday for all the sleepless nights, diapers, projectile vomits, etc. I’ll do anything for you, Boo.”

Barash — who shares Harper with his ex-wife, Kirsten Storms (Maxie, GENERAL HOSPITAL) — even hosted a pre-party at his home for his daughter’s friends and their fathers. And because Barash and Storms work hard at co-parenting and sharing their daughter’s special moments together as a family, the actress was there for the festivities. And even seemed to be in awe of Barash’s charcuterie board skills! “The daddy/daughter dance pre-party was a success,” Storms raved on Instagram. “Baby rose corsages? Stop the cuteness. Brandon’s charcuterie boards were a hit, blah, blah, blah… I still think he copied something he found after lurking [on] Pinterest in the middle of the night.”

All jokes aside, Storms shared that she’s thrilled her little girl has found a wonderful social circle. “Anyway, going to bed right now feeling grateful that Harper has a great group of friends at school and that their parents are just as amazing,” she concluded. “That gift is not lost on me.”

For the dance, Harper was decked out in a baby pink crushed velvet dress. Balancing out her girly dress with a bit of tomboy, the second-grader accessorized her outfit with combat boots. Barash complimented his daughter’s ensemble by wearing a pink tee underneath a gray blazer, paired with jeans and sneakers. The actor shared more about his sweet date with his daughter on the Instagram page for The Fathership, where he and his pal tackle all things related to being a single dad. “On Friday, we had our first daddy/daughter dance at school,” he wrote. “The dads we went with all got down on one knee and gave their girls flowers before we escorted them to school. [It’s] important that we teach them now what to expect from the men in their lives.”

Again relating how happy he was that his daughter had such a great time on their date, Barash called it “one of the most magical moments of my life” when Harper declared that the dance had been the best night of her life. “I think it may have been because she found eight frogs on the walk home, but that’s neither here nor there,” he joked. “I’ll be your frog prince any day, Boo.”

In December, Barash got engaged to Isabella Devoto, as a teary Harper looked on and literally jumped for joy. When Barash announced their engagement on Instagram, Storms chimed in that she was thrilled for her ex and former GH castmate. “I’m happy for you both — I still feel more happiness for Isa, because I like her more than you,” she joked. “Ya did good, Brandon. Congratulations.”
