Chrishell Stause Opens up About Her New Romance With Keo Motsepe!
It looks like Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; Amanda, ALL MY CHILDREN) has a new love in her life! The actress — who competed on the most recent season of DANCING WITH THE STARS — is dating dancing pro Keo Motsepe, whom she met on the show!
The pair went public with their relationship on Dec. 2 when Motsepe posted to his Instagram a sweet snap of him kissing his girlfriend, captioned with a simple heart emoji. As DANCING WITH THE STARS fans went crazy with the news that the dancing pro and former contestant were now real-life partners, Stause took to her Instagram to post an equally adorable pic of Motsepe kissing her cheek. “The internet has absolutely zero chill,” the actress wrote, adding laughing-face emojis. “I guess you saw this already, but I’m gonna leave this here.”
Later that evening, Stause joined DANCING winner Kaitlyn Bristowe and her boyfriend, Jason Tartick, for an Instagram Live conversation, where she chatted about meeting Motsepe on the show. “I’m grateful,” Stause gushed of her new romance. “I had the best experience [on DWTS] but this to me is the coolest thing. I knew from my dance work I wasn’t going to win a Mirrorball from the beginning. To have this come from it… I’m just very smitten.”
Stause and her DWTS partner, Gleb Savchenko, were eliminated in week 8, while Motsepe and his partner, Anne Heche (Vicky/Marley, ANOTHER WORLD), were cut in week 3. But a spark had already been ignited between the actress and the South African dancer at that point. When Bristowe admitted that she was “rooting” for the couple from the “very start,” Stause confessed that she’d actually been hesitant to get involved with Motsepe due to their eight-year age difference.
“I had a little bit of a hang-up at first because I was worried because he’s younger,” shared Stause, who is 39 to her beau’s 31. “But a lot of guys my age and older still don’t want what I am looking for.”
For his part, Motsepe seems to be just as smitten with Stause as she is with him. Joining Bristowe and Tartick to talk just before his girlfriend, Motsepe said he’s “grateful. The most important thing for me is her. The love we receive [from fans] is a bonus, but as long as she’s happy” that is all that matters to him.
