“It’s Valentine’s Day and I can’t stop thinking about you,” Stefan declares. But given that Rolf’s brainwashing has left him in love with two women, is he talking to Gabi or Chloe? Gabi arrives at the DiMera mansion in a stunning red dress that takes Stefan’s breath away. As he hands her a single red rose, he whispers, “Oh, darling,” and pulls her into a passionate liplock. Are Gabi’s dreams finally coming true?
Steve also enjoys a dream come true this Valentine’s Day as he sits up from the couch to find Kayla standing in the living room. “You came back to me?” he asks, stunned. Kayla replies, “Where else would I be on our anniversary?” and the couple shares a tender kiss. Steve will be heartbroken to awaken from this to return to reality…
Nicole and EJ go out to dinner for the holiday at the Bistro and find themselves seated next to Sloan and Eric, which creates some awkward drama for both pairs. “I’ll have… what she’s having,” Nicole tells the waitress. And while she’s talking about Sloan’s choice of entree, the hidden meaning is pretty clear. For his part, Eric is also distracted by the presence of his ex. “Now she’s holding hands with him,” he grouses to his unimpressed date. And when Eric and Nicole finally come face to face, will they politely excuse themselves or will it get ugly?
Chanel and Allie have been at odds lately, with Allie jealous of Chanel’s continuing closeness with Johnny and Chanel bothered by Allie’s growing closeness with Alex. But now Chanel wants to set things right. “I know nothing happened between you and Alex,” she assures her girlfriend. Unfortunately, while that might have been true the last time that Alex spent the night, things turned out very differently this time around! And as Alex hides underneath the table, wincing, the truth is set to explode!
