Jackée Harry Previews Her Debut on DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Get ready, because Jackée Harry joins the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Paulina Price on Monday, March 1! “I’ve got three good reasons why you should watch me on DAYS,” the actress declared in a promo video for the NBC soap. “I’m bold, I’m fabulous, and you know I’m gonna stir up trouble! Ooh, let’s do this!”

Harry got her start in daytime playing Lily on ANOTHER WORLD and hit the big time with her scene-stealing role as Sandra on the hit sitcom 227 in the ‘80s. When it was first announced that the actress would be joining the cast of DAYS back in December 2020, details were still being kept under wraps, but now we know that she’ll be playing Lani’s aunt, who is a real estate mogul from Miami.

“Paulina has plenty of money and she lives in Miami,” Harry told Entertainment Weekly. “She’s scandalous. I mean, you gotta be scandalous on DAYS OF OUR LIVES — you need murder, scandal, and divorce! You also need secrets. And she has plenty. Secrets that’ll be exposed later.”

While Harry admitted that the handsome Lamon Archey (Eli) naturally caught her eye, she was also thrilled to be working with daytime vet James Reynolds (Abe). “God, I love Jim Renolds,” she enthused. “He’s really the reason we’re there. He’s been on the show for 40 years. He is a leader, which he shows by his actions and his words. Working with him put me immediately into focus. He was so accepting! And you know Paulina wants to jump him! And he’s already jumped nearly everybody. I didn’t know he had that many babies. They had to break it down for me. You all have to watch to see how my background breaks down in the weeks to come, which is really fun.”

Although the length of Harry’s run on DAYS is not yet known, there’s still Paulina’s daughter, Chanel, to be introduced in the very near future. So be sure to tune in and watch all of the drama unfold!
