Watch Greg Vaughan in the Romantic New Movie ‘Valentine’s Again’

Tags:

More than four years after daytime alum Greg Vaughan (ex-Eric, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Lucky, GENERAL HOSPITAL; ex-Diego, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) filmed the romantic movie Valentine’s Again, fans can finally watch the sweet flick when it premieres this weekend on Hallmark Channel! The original movie will air on Valentine’s Day — Sunday, Feb. 14 — at 9 p.m. EST.

Nicky Whelan headlines Valentine’s Again as Kat, an unlucky-in-love workaholic who’s had a string of bad relationships in her search for true love. After an encounter with a gypsy, Kat finds herself reliving Valentine’s Day over and over again — much like Bill Murray does in the classic film Groundhog’s Day — until she finally connects with her soulmate. And yep, that would be Vaughan’s character, Danny! But before the Valentine’s Day loop will stop, Kat must figure out who she really is and what is important in her life in order for her to enjoy her happily ever after.

Vaughan and Whelan actually filmed the movie in Sofia, Bulgaria, back in December 2016, and the film was supposed to air on Hallmark in Feb. 2017 as part of the cable network’s Countdown to Valentine’s Day programming. “Here’s to another adventure,” the DAYS and QUEEN SUGAR star wrote on Instagram as he flew to Europe to work on the movie. But the network pulled it from the lineup at the last minute, with no official explanation as to why it wouldn’t be airing. Thankfully, Valentine’s Again is getting a second shot from Hallmark this year and will make its U.S. debut as part of the network’s Love Ever After block of movies!
