Daytime Emmys 2020: Review the Lead Actress Reels

As the Daytime Emmy Awards approach on Friday, June 26, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has been releasing clips from the reels submitted by the nominees in the major category. And their final highlight reel is from the hotly-contested Outstanding Lead Actress race!

THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL‘s Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) selected the episode where Brooke thanked Taylor for being there for Ridge during Caroline’s memorial but then laid into her for kissing him. DAYS OF OUR LIVES‘ Arianne Zucker (Nicole) opted for the scenes where Nicole broke down upon learning that her little girl had died in a car crash. Heather Tom (Katie, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) chose the episode where Katie informed Flo she would never accept her as one of the Logan sisters.

GENERAL HOSPITAL star Maura West (Ava) went with the powerful confrontation when Ava held a gun on Ryan and promised to make him pay for murdering her daughter. And her GH castmate, Finola Hughes, submitted the episode where she played both Anna and Alex as the twins got to the bottom of whose memories were whose.
