Alley Mills Cast on GENERAL HOSPITAL!
A very familiar face is showing up in Port Charles when Alley Mills joins the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL in a brand new mystery role! Soap Opera Digest broke the news and revealed that she would be making her first appearance at the end of October.
Mills is probably best known for her role as Norma Arnold, the mother in the primetime series THE WONDER YEARS, which she played from 1988-93. But soap fans — at least the CBS ones — will also recognize her from her long-running role of Pamela Douglas on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. She joined the cast of the CBS sudser back in 2006 and has been making appearances on both a contract and recurring basis since then.
ABC is remaining tight-lipped about what role Mills will be playing on GH, but perhaps she might factor into Carly’s storyline down in Florida? The soap has already cast Linda Purl as Peyton Honeycutt, a woman from Carly’s past who is causing her grief in the present. So Mills could either be on Peyton’s side… or take Carly’s. Of course, with all the storylines going on right now, Mills could be slotted into any one of them!
So stay tuned to GH to see Mills make her ABC Daytime debut at the end of October, and keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for more updates as additional information becomes available!
