GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum Ryan Paevey Signs an Exclusive Multi-Movie Deal!

Tags:

Since exiting GENERAL HOSPITAL in 2018, Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan) has built a successful new career starring in romantic made-for-TV movies that have aired on Hallmark Channel. And now, there’s even more for Pavey’s fans to look forward to because the GH grad has multiple movies lined up for the cable network!

Hallmark announced the exciting news about Paevey on its Instagram page. “Hallmarkies, drop us a ❤️ if you’re excited to see more of Ryan Paevey, who has partnered with us for an exclusive multi-picture deal!”

Paevey’s first movie for the network was 2016’s Unleashing Mr. Darcy, which he filmed while he was still starring on GH. The film — based on Teri Wilson’s book of the same title which itself was a contemporary spin on Jane Austen’s classic, Pride and Prejudice — was a hit for the network and led to a sequel, Marrying Mr. Darcy, two years later. The movie’s popularity also cemented Paevey’s status as a leading man for the network, and he went on to star in Harvest Love, From Friend to Fiancé, Christmas at the Plaza, A Little Daytime Drama, Hope at Christmas, A Summer Romance, Matching Hearts, A Timeless Christmas, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, and A Coyote Creek Christmas. He will also star opposite Ashley Williams (ex-Dani, AS THE WORLD TURNS) in the romantic comedy Two Tickets to Paradise, premiering next month during Hallmark’s “Summer Nights” lineup.

In an interview with Deadline, Crown Media Family Networks executive vice president Lisa Hamilton Daly had nothing but praise for the actor. “Ryan is a consummate professional who always brings a special spark to the characters he plays, making him a favorite among our viewers,” she said. “We’re excited to extend our partnership with Ryan and can’t wait to get started on his next project for us.”

As for joining the ranks of Hallmark talent pool on a more exclusive basis, Paevey shared, “Being part of Hallmark is like no other experience I’ve ever had. The creative people I’ve had the pleasure of working with both at the network and on every set have made this collaboration so special and I can’t wait to see what’s next.”

Neither can we! In the meantime, be sure to tune in to see Paevey in Two Tickets to Paradise, debuting Saturday, June 25, at 8 p.m.
