As soon as the mysterious nurse showed up in the Aug. 16 episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL, fans were desperate to know who she is and what she’s up to but it wasn’t until a few days later that it was finally revealed that she’s Spencer’s girlfriend! “Look out, everyone… Esme Prince has officially made it to Port Charles!” actress Avery Kristen Pohl exclaimed on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of herself in the studio hallway pointing up at the GH logo on the wall behind her, the actress as naturally wearing a face mask per current COVID protocols. “I swear my face is ecstatic under my mask,” Pohl promised. “So thrilled to join GH and work with this amazing cast and crew.

“Special thank you to [executive producer] Frank Valentini, [casting director] Mark Teschner, and all of the producers, writers, and directors,” she continued. “So honored to get to work with such kind and hardworking people. One final thank you to Jay Gallagher, Tony Martinez, and everyone at KMR Talent for their hard work and support over the years!”

Naturally, Poh’s new GH castmates were just as excited to be working with her. “Woo hoo!” cheered Sydney Mikayla (Trina) in the comments. William Lipton (Cameron) posted “Yayayayay!” and Eden McCoy (Josslyn) commented: “Here we gooooo!” Pohl’s on-screen beau, Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer) added: “Oh yeahhhhh!”

So far, it appears that Esme has been working with Spencer to help with his schemes to destroy Nikolas and Ava, but he wasn’t thrilled by her setting fire to Ava’s car so it may be she’s a little more into this revenge scheme than he is. And just how close are Esme and Spencer? He was getting awful close with Trina before she showed up! So you’ll want to make sure to stay tuned to GH to find out exactly what happens next! “So stoked!” Pohl declared enthusiastically.
