Baby #2 on the Way for GH’s Michael Blake Kruse and Wife Cara
Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL star Michael Blake Kruse (Rory), and his wife, Cara, who just announced that they are expecting their second child together! And the couple’s baby announcement on Instagram was absolutely adorable!
In coordinating posts, both Kruse and his wife shared a pair of photos revealing their big news. The first snapshot is a family photo of the GH star holding the couple’s toddler daughter, Harlow, who will turn 2 in November. The three are standing in a grassy field, and while Mom and Dad are wearing jean shorts and tees, little Harlow is sporting a pink tee that says “Big Sis.” The second photo is of Harlow alone, sporting a big smile on her face as she holds her mommy’s sonogram photo in her hand. “Baby Kruse arriving March 2023 🥰,” the expectant parents captioned the two images.
Clearly, little Harlow is excited about the baby on the way. In an Insta story, Cara shared a pic of their daughter from the same photo shoot, revealing in the typed text that “Harlow asks to wear her ‘Big Sister shirt’ every day.”
Kruse joined the cast of GH as PCPD rookie Officer Rory Cabrera back in March and quickly became a fan favorite. Rory’s unwavering support of Trina during her court battle endeared Kruse to the soap’s viewers, who have been rooting for the couple to make things official. In real life, Kruse and his wife, who grew up together in Iowa, were married on August 3, 2019, and welcomed Harlow Blake on November 2, 2020.
There was no indication from the Kruses if Harlow’s adorable “Big Sis” tee came with a coordinating “Lil Sis” or “Lil Bro” onesie for the baby. Hopefully, the actor and his wife will stage an equally adorable baby gender reveal in a few months!
In the meantime, we wish Cara a safe and effortless pregnancy, and we can’t wait to see the photos when Baby Kruse is born!
